will be held in Albuquerque, NM,
February 27 -
March 1, 2012,
at the Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town!
| The Purpose of Head Start is
to promote school readiness by enhancing the social and learning development
of low-income children. Head Start children also receive health,
educational, nutritional and social services. Families of Head Start
children receive services based on family partnership agreements (Head Start
Act amended 10/27/98). The goal of the Native American Child and Family Conference is to provide Head Start, Early Head Start, and Child Care programs with training opportunities to build their capacity in providing quality services. There are three Conference objectives:
